MISSISSAUGA, ON — February 8, 2012 — Survalent Technology, the most trusted provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced today that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities.

Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities is owned and operated as an integral part of the municipal structure, providing electric, water and waste water services. Lawrenceburg serves 3,357 customers, including residential, commercial, and industrial. They are a member of Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA) and Indiana Municipal Electric Association (IMEA).

The new system features Survalent’s highly available, open-architecture system based on Windows Server 2008. It includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: WorldView, SCADA Explorer, Command Sequencing, Event Data Recording (EDR), IED Wizard, Control Panel and Remote Alarm Annunciation.
