MISSISSAUGA, ON — April 26, 2011 — Survalent Technology, the most trusted provider of smart grid solutions for the control room, announced today that it has commissioned a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for Fayette Electric Cooperative.

Fayette Electric Cooperative, headquartered in La Grange, Texas, provides electric service for approximately 12,000 members in seven counties, and maintains over 2,710 miles of distribution power line. The new system features Survalent's open-architecture system based on Windows Server 2008. The system includes several of Survalent's open system applications, including: IED Wizard, Control Panel, SCADA Add-in for MS Excel and Access, Remote Alarm Annunciation, Power Factor Control, External Clock Interface, WebSurv, SCADA Replicator, Command Sequencing, and MultiSpeak interface for Outage Analysis.
