EAI Applications

Database Transcription Database Transcription is an application that provides bi-directional transcribing of SCADA data into relational databases. Target databases that are supported are Microsoft Access, SQL Server and Oracle. The types of data that can be transcribed include: current values, historical data, operation messages (including alarms), and event logs (including SOE). Database Transcription can be used to interface with other systems such as AMR, OMS, and GIS, or simply used to archive historical information. ICCP Inter Control Center Communication Protocol (ICCP) is the industry standard for Master to Master communications. ICCP application consists of both client and server software. The client software connects to other members on the network to request point data and forward control requests from operators and application programs. The server software responds to client requests by returning the requested data and executing the requested controls. Quality codes, such as manual set and telemetry failed, are transmitted along with the data. In device control operations, tags on the server system are respected.

NDA API Network Database Access (NDA) is a client/server protocol that was developed by Survalent. The NDA API (application programming interface) is a library of functions that allow PC application programs to access the SCADA system using the NDA protocol. This API is provided in the form of a DLL (dynamically linked library) that is installed on the PC, and underlying network protocol used is TCP/IP. Includes interface to OSI PI Historian.
OPC Client/Server OPC Client/Server (OLE for Process Control) is an open standard built using Microsoft's OLE technology. The Client allows the SCADA system to collect data from any OPC compatible Server, typically a field device. The Server provides any OPC compatible Client access to the SCADA system database. OPC Client/Server is compliant with OPC DA.
SCADA Replicator
SNMP SNMP Scan Task is an application to communicate with one or more devices using the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). It is used to communicate with network devices such as radios, bridges, routers, switches, etc…, for operation and maintenance data.
Virtual RTU Virtual RTU application allows for quick and easy setup of a virtual device that can be polled by another master station via DNP3.0 protocol. Points are easily added to the Virtual RTU with the Drag-n-Drop Point Browser. Complete Datasets can be created and assigned to multiple Virtual RTUs. This means that the same data can easily be sent to more than one client system without having to maintain duplicate dataset definitions for each Virtual RTU.
WebSurv WebSurv is a powerful application to serve real-time SCADA information to users via web browser, without the need for building custom web pages or maintenance of a separate system. WebSurv is available for both VMS and Windows SCADA Systems, and supports multiple master station connectivity. |
