Streamlining Operations for a More Efficient Network
Edenorte Dominicana, a major electric distribution utility in the Dominican Republic was facing issues with their existing substation solution. Their goal was to run unmanned substations through more robust and reliable software in addition to improving their operational efficiency in the network.
Edenorte now operates their substations from a central location and can focus on grid improvement in other areas through the reallocation of resources.
Improving Internal Efficiency and Streamlining Processes
Alternativa de Energia Renovable (AER), in Guatemala upgraded their renewable power plant with a new automation system to achieve greater efficiency and availability. This project relates to their Hydroelectric Power Plant and is a key element in the country’s plan for changing the demand matrix to incorporate more renewable sources.
They selected Survalent’s solution offering a more robust data acquisition engine and faster access to digital information for trend analysis and reporting capabilities. AER now benefits from streamlined resources, improved turbine efficiency, elimination of time-consuming manual work and stronger cybersecurity.
