MP impressed by homegrown technology; looks forward to advocating company’s work at a federal level

Survalent was pleased to welcome Sonia Sidhu, Member of Parliament for Brampton South, at its corporate headquarters in Brampton, Ontario, on April 26 last week. The visit was aimed at familiarizing her with the company’s technology and role in the electric utility industry, and underscored Survalent’s significant impact in both the Canadian and global markets. Going forward, MP Sidhu seeks to support the company’s commitment to enabling modern, clean energy solutions at the federal level.

During the visit, CEO Steve Mueller provided MP Sidhu with a comprehensive overview of Survalent, highlighting its pivotal role in the electric distribution industry. He also discussed Survalent’s efforts toward helping utilities transition to a sustainable energy future by adopting renewable energy sources such as solar and switching to electric vehicles. He explained how such changes have resulted in bidirectional power flow and increasing grid complexity, which the SurvalentONE solution suite helps simplify and manage.
