Director of Operations Juan David Castaño Guevara of Compañía Energética de Occidente (CEO) will share his experience implementing ADMS systems in difficult, remote areas of Colombia facing low collection rates and high levels of non-technical energy loss. He will detail CEO’s experience in transforming their operations center through architectural, technological and functional renovations that translated into a 52% improvement in the SAIDI and SAIFI indicators in 2022 compared to 2018.
Attendees will learn of the solutions CEO implemented, including contingency analysis, load flow and automatic restoration schemes with the ADMS FLISR application for all circuits with load transfer possibilities through equipment remotely controlled in the Popayán and Santander de Quilichao regions. Juan David will also detail the philosophies and knowledge governing the transformation of CEO’s processes and operations.
